Brotherhood is one of the most important values at Cathedral. We learn that education isn’t just getting good grades and preparing for college; it's also about character development, building relationships, and supporting others. Brotherhood at Cathedral connects students, teachers, alumni, and the community of Cathedral by sharing experiences, having school pride, and helping each other succeed.
The brotherhood at Cathedral emphasizes supporting one another. High school brings challenges like academic pressure, personal struggles, and decisions about our futures. Overcoming these challenges is much easier with a brotherhood alongside you. Brothers encourage each other to work harder, learn from mistakes, and become better people. We see our classmates as people who are going through the same struggles as we are, rather than competitors. True brotherhood means supporting each other during times of hardship and celebrating accomplishments with each other. This motivates students to succeed.

Cathedral’s brotherhood is closely tied to the Lasallian core principles. We show faith in God's presence when we unite in prayer and in Mass. We work together in community service to show concern for others. Together, we help each other to make the highest-quality education possible. We also show the utmost respect to each other. With these values of brotherhood, we can become leaders who make a difference in our communities, families, and futures.
Overall, brotherhood represents Cathedral because it helps to shape the kind of men we become. Although academics prepare us for college and our future careers, brotherhood strengthens our community and helps us to grow as people. It makes Cathedral different from other schools because we build lasting friendships and support one another.
