What makes pep rallies so great? Pep rallies have been a Cathedral tradition for quite a while. Pep rallies are a fun school activity that brings us all together to support our school teams. Pep rallies bring school spirit and make everyone feel closer to each other. Pep rallies at the Cathedral strengthen our brotherhood by bringing all students together as one body of brothers. When we get together in the gym to cheer for the teams, support each other, and enjoy the rivalry, school spirit shines through and reminds us that we are more than classmates; we are brothers who support one another in and out of class.
Pep rallies also bring out the Lasallian charisms, especially respect, community, and faith. Whether we're in the middle of a game, singing chants, or encouraging an athlete on the field, everyone can participate and unite to make others feel welcome. It's a great way to unite students of all grades and form new friendships.
Our 2027 Seniors winning the spirit log!
These moments stay with us forever. We learn the significance of working as a team, being loyal, and supporting each other in victory and defeat. Every single pep rally makes us realize that once we walk through the doors of Cathedral, we are part of one brotherhood where we support each other, are proud of our school, and grow stronger together as one.
